Best budget long range hunting scope available. VHR reticle is clean, illumination bright enough for dawn and dusk. At this price nothing comes close. Rock solid on my 6.5 Creedmoor.
I own 5 Arken scopes. The EP-5 Gen 2 has the best glass of them all. Had it out to 1000m regularly, never a problem. Japanese ED glass makes a real difference.
I have three SH-4 Gen 2s. Love all three of them. Put one on my .22LR build and can spot hits on steel at 300 yards. For what they cost, the glass is excellent.
EP-5 has performed well out to 1000 yards in 6.5 Creedmoor. Tracks perfectly and has not been babied. The rifle is used regularly and the scope has proven to retain zero through it all.
Solid scope for hunting. Love the capped turrets — no accidental bumps in the field. Glass is clear, lightweight enough for my Howa. Great for the Karoo.
